Digital Production Specialist – Inside Higher Ed, Tallahassee, FL

Regular & Full‑time position within the College of Law.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the law school’s multimedia content creation, including video production, photography, and post‑production editing.
  • Develop engaging, high‑quality content as a storyteller, elevating the College’s brand.
  • Oversee photography projects (headshots, marketing materials, events) to maintain brand consistency.
  • Ensure all communication photo and video content adheres to visual identity and messaging guidelines.
  • Capture and edit high‑quality video content, incorporating graphics, transitions, sound, using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts that tell compelling stories aligned with the College’s brand.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and professional standards.
  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of video production: planning, filming, editing, delivering content for web and live events.
  • Manage live streams and AV setups for events and lectures, including troubleshooting, lighting, and real‑time adjustments.
  • Maintain and organize multimedia equipment and studio space, overseeing inventory, repairs, and safe usage.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and work nights/weekends as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high‑school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience (post‑high‑school education/experience can combine to equal six years).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in videography and photography.
  • Advanced video editing techniques.
  • Ability to craft engaging, on‑brand multimedia content.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong technical skills in editing software and production tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with a strong sense of storytelling.
