The MEP Superintendent coordinates and supervises electrical, mechanical, and plumbing activities and subcontractors. Reports directly to the General Superintendent.

• 8 years of supervisory experience in construction.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.

• 8 years of supervisory experience in construction.
• Preferred: 10+ years of supervisory experience.
• Required:
  
  Heavy mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Preferred:
  Background within a commercial GC or subcontractor in a supervisory role.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods.
• Understanding of MEP trades.
• Knowledge of all safety requirements.
• Ability to motivate employees and handle project situations.

• Good vision, with or without correction.
• Coordination of eye, hand, and finger movements.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.

• Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate craft personnel per company policies.
• Supervise craft and subcontractors to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Assist project management with drawing interpretations and recommended construction methods.
• Ensure compliance with safety and working procedures.
• Maintain project productivity and promote safety.

• Supervise electrical, HVAC, and plumbing construction in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on‑site functions.
• Supervise trades as required by the contract.
• Authorize and approve personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, and design changes.
• Provide technical assistance and interpret drawings.
• Assist in developing and implementing project procedures and standards.
• Ensure on‑site personnel comply with procedures, safety, and work rules; document violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to enforce safety policies.>
• Manage productivity, material efficiency, and contractual performance.
• Perform or supervise building layout and field engineering.
