About Our Job
This is Service/Maintenance type work which may involve scheduling, coordinating, reviewing. inspecting and approving work of others and/or contracts involving construction, operation, maintenance, land development, hydraulic controls and pumps. and utilities of private and public projects to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, statutes and County ordinances). Also, may place, retrieve, and extract data from mechanical and electronic monitoring devices.
Responsible for leading small to large projects involving one or more crews
Inspects the work performed by vendor for quality and completeness based on schedules and performance standards of the contract.
Prepares and maintains inspections documentation for daily inspection activities.
Documents and reports vendor performance utilizing a work management system and advises vendor of deficiencies in quality of work with recommendations for corrective actions.
Assists with verification that payment requests match work that has been satisfactorily completed in a billing period.
Monitors safety requirements; makes recommendations for corrective actions.
Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with vendors and internal/external customers.
Meets with customers and contractors to clarify and resolve work related challenges and request.
Attends and participates in weekly/bi-weekly progress meetings with vendors.
About YouMinimum Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or its equivalent and three (3) or more years of experience in construction/maintenanceorcontractsapplicable to construction trades or landscaping, orin a field providing technical/supervisory services to construction/maintenance and/or landscaping contractors.
Possession of a valid Driver's License required to perform the essential functions of the job.
College or university level training in an appropriate field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required construction/maintenance experience.
About Everything Else
Pay: $16.75 - $21.01
