Earthwork Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman to lead grading and mass excavation crews. This is a working leadership role focused on production, planning, and delivering quality site preparation on active commercial projects.

What You'll Do as the Earthwork Foreman:

• Lead grading and excavation crews in daily field operations
• Oversee rough and fine grading, site balancing, and mass excavation
• Coordinate equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, and graders
• Read and interpret grading plans and specifications
• Shoot grade using Trimble GPS systems
• Plan daily and short-term upcoming work activities
• Monitor productivity and enforce safety compliance
• Communicate with project leadership and document daily progress

Must-Haves as the Earthwork Foreman:

• 5+ years of earthwork or site development experience
• 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role
• Strong grading and production knowledge
• Trimble GPS experience
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves as the Earthwork Foreman:

• Experience on commercial or municipal site projects
• OSHA certification
• Experience coordinating multiple equipment operators
