Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drywall Project Manager to oversee and coordinate drywall projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with specific expertise in drywall installation and finishing. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of drywall projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and invoices.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
• Assist in the bidding process, providing estimates and proposals as needed.
• Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in drywall or framing or related construction fields.
• Strong knowledge of drywall materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
• Proficient in Onscreen OSP software is required.
• Proficiency in Sage and/or Viewpoint software is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.

Preferred

Skills:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
• Experience with estimating and budgeting for LARGE drywall projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to drywall installation.
