Overview

Our client is a leading renewable energy company seeking an experienced Commissioning Supervisor to oversee civil and mechanical aspects of solar plant construction. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with cutting-edge renewable energy technology while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance in solar construction projects.

As the Owner's representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring EPC contractor adherence to all contractual commitments and project specifications throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Owner's representative overseeing civil and structural aspects of solar plant construction
  • Ensure EPC contractor adherence to Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Performance expectations
  • Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Conduct daily field walks and observations with construction crews
  • Perform comprehensive QA/QC inspections and walkdowns on construction activities
  • Monitor and ensure SWPPP installation and maintenance per permit requirements
  • Attend safety meetings, craft tailgates, and management meetings
  • Track open action items and punchlist completion
  • Complete QA/QC inspections in project management systems
  • Coordinate with contractors, management, and third-party stakeholders
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience in commissioning or construction supervision
  • Minimum 4 years of industrial experience in Civil and Structural construction
  • Proven ability to comprehend and interpret construction drawings and prints
  • Strong people management and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent organization, scheduling, planning, and progress reporting skills
  • Outstanding communication skills for contractor management and stakeholder coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with data entry and project management system uploads
  • Willingness to be on construction site for project duration
