GA Telesis – Purchasing Agent, Landing Gear Services – Medley, FL

GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries. At our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, we are seeking a Purchasing Agent to coordinate the procurement of aircraft parts, tooling, raw material, and other special procurements.

Important Notice: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers based on cost, lead time, and performance.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders, ensure accurate specifications, and process part estimates and quotes.
• Monitor inventory levels and spending to align with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Track delivery performance, address supplier issues, and resolve quality concerns.
• Serve as the primary contact between suppliers and internal departments, maintaining clear communication on order status and delays.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including items/services ordered and supplier interactions.
• Approve invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with purchase terms and delivery.
• Provide market insights and participate in strategic planning and process improvements.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of aviation industry suppliers.
• Aerospace industry knowledge preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to compile and present data to facilitate decision making.
