Salary Range

$ 52,000.00- $59,000.00 Annually $2,000.00 - $2,269.23 Bi-weekly

Position Summary

This position serves as a designated APD employee responsible for enforcing the performance of contract terms and conditions and serves as primary liaison with contracted providers for all assigned contracts and agreements. The position serves as an APD Contract Manager and is responsible for the planning, development, execution, coordination, management, and closeout of all assigned contracts and agreements related actions and documents.

This position supports the APD Contract Administrator and the Agency in the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies and procedures pertaining to contracts. This position requires the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and/or as a team leader to achieve common goals in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This position requires independent decision-making within parameters of established laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Travel is required on a as needed basis to multiple locations throughout the State of Florida for work purposes.

The Work You Will Do

Prepares, processes, facilitates execution, manages, and monitors APD performance-based contracts as assigned by the APD Contract Administrator. Ensures contract actions are processed and executed, contracts are managed, and contract files are maintained in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and directives. Duties include, but are not limited to, working with providers and APD staff in developing and implementing contract documents;

coordinating and executing contract actions such as new contracts, amendments, renewals and extensions; maintaining proper contract files; managing contracts in accordance with contract terms and conditions; assessing provider performance; monitoring provider services; reviewing and approving deliverables and invoices; monitoring and tracking allocations, encumbrances and expenditures; reconciling payments in State and Agency financial systems; and conducting administrative functions such as contract closeout.
