POSITION SUMMARYThe Education and Policy Analyst provides high-level administrative, operational, and programmatic support to two senior leaders of the Association. The role advances key initiatives through coordination of leadership engagements, committees, councils, and member collaboratives including but not limited to quality and patient safety, Patient Safety Organization of Florida (PSOF), managed care, cybersecurity, and emergency management.
Working in collaboration with the Education and Events team, the Analyst supports Association policy workgroup logistics and content, ensuring seamless execution of governance activities, gathering data, communications,and statewide initiatives. This position requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, member-driven environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides strategic administrative and operational support to two senior leaders, ensuring priorities, initiatives, and engagements are executed with consistency and excellence.
- Coordinates leadership meetings, stakeholder convenings, committees, councils, and work groups, including agenda and materials preparation, logistics, and post-meeting action tracking when appropriate.
- Manages the operations of recurring committees and work groups, including scheduling, communications, facilitation support, documentation, and resource distribution.
- Assists in the development and dissemination of newsletters, updates, toolkits, and member communications.
- Coordinates onboarding and engagement of committee and workgroup members to support strong governance and participation.
- Supports statewide emergency management coordination efforts, including call logistics, situational communications, and resource sharing.
- Drafts executive correspondence, governance communications, and other confidential materials.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Develops presentations, reports, and communications utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Provides additional operational and administrative support in furtherance of Association priorities.
The position requires a minimum of an associate degree and two years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
