Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School, located in Southwest Ranches (Broward County), Florida is hiring for a full-time Tuition Specialist Assistant. S/he provides critical support to the Business Office by assisting with the management of tuition accounts, ensuring accurate billing and collections, and delivering high-quality customer service to families. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
The candidate performs all duties and tasks in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.
- Assist with maintaining accurate student profiles in the Tuition Management System (FACTS), including the application of scholarships, financial aid, and discounts.
- Help ensure enrollment in FACTS aligns with enrollment data in the school’s student information system (Administrators Plus).
- Support processing of Step Up for Students Scholarship enrollments, billing adjustments, and withdrawals.
- Assist in collecting tuition and fee payments and inputting them into the Tuition Management System in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond professionally to parent inquiries regarding tuition and document all correspondence and resolutions within the system.
- Help enforce school and archdiocesan policies regarding tuition and fee payments.
- Follow up regularly with families who have outstanding balances or delayed approvals for Step Up for Students disbursements.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports needed for the annual audit of tuition records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; clear and professional speaking skills are essential.
- Good spoken communication skills in Spanish are strongly recommended.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations.
- Proven time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask in an environment with competing deadlines.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality concerning student and family financial records.
- Must be supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Positive, service-oriented demeanor and a professional appearance.
