Receptionist – Professional Firm

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30pm–5:30pm

Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overview

A high-profile firm is seeking a polished and professional Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and public officials. This position requires an individual with exceptional communication skills, strong professional presence, and the ability to maintain a composed and welcoming demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors with a professional and courteous approach
  • Manage guest check-ins, confirm meeting details, and coordinate visitor flow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area and conference rooms
  • Coordinate meeting schedules and assist with appointment logistics
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries
  • Provide administrative support, including document preparation, scanning, scheduling, and file management
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Support general office operations as needed to ensure an efficient and professional environment

  • Consistent reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness
  • Professional appearance and conduct aligned with a high-visibility office setting

  • Previous experience in a professional services, legal, consulting, lobbying, or high-profile office environment preferred
