Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Dental Office Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent organization and communication skills, advanced knowledge of dental insurance and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to our patients
  • Warmly greet and interact with our patients
  • Efficiently schedule patients
  • Explain treatment plans
  • Efficiently schedule patients to the set parameters of the Doctor and Office Manager
  • Accurately estimate insurance co-pays and deductions and receive payment from patients after treatment.
  • Help with confirming, processing and following up on insurance claims.
  • Conduct end of day balancing for the office’s production and collections
  • Help maintain office computers and software are in good working order with the assistance of the IT department
  • Assist Office Manager to pay and record invoices
Qualifications
  • High level of customer service and inter-personal skills
  • High school diploma/GED required, college preferred
  • Previous experience working as a Dental office administrative assistant or similar position preferred
  • Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record in administrative roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
