Tax Associate

Responsibilities- Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
- Provide clients with IRS support.
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
- Continually grow your tax expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
- Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
- Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, chat).
- Effective communication in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
