Tax Professional - Franchise Location at H&R Block

What you'll do:

• Build client relationships that grow stronger each year.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and through virtual tools such as video, phone, chat, and email.
• Provide IRS support, including handling tax notices and audit representation.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Mentor and support teammates.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.

Additional requirement
:
Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
