Store Support, Customer Service Rep

Overview

Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required for these positions. They must work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, and carriers, be detail-oriented, and have proven time management skills.

They must demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times, respond to operational concerns of all associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.

• Support non-sales functions to ensure an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience.
• Assist customers in the store lot or provide administrative services.
• Engage in direct customer or vendor interaction as required.
• Direct customers to store departments or merchandise and answer questions on product order status.
• Handle cash management or program compliance as part of operational duties.
• Collaborate with other Associates, vendors, and carriers; operate with little or some supervision.
• Be detail-oriented, demonstrate time management, and maintain integrity at all times.
• Respond to operational concerns and support key store objectives.
• Possible specific roles include Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
