Customer Service Supervisor (Industrial Manufacturing):
- Position Type: Direct Hire
- Salary: $80,000/annually + bonus eligible

On behalf of a global leader in high-tech manufacturing solutions for the electronics industry, we are seeking a Customer Service Supervisor (Industrial Manufacturing) to join a fast-paced team in Florham Park. This is a "player-coach" role reporting directly to the VP of Global Operations. You will be the driving force behind a team of three or more, overseeing the configuration of engineered-to-order products while ensuring operational excellence and 100% customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing service team while driving capacity planning and staffing to meet workload demands.
- Order Management: Supervise the entry and processing of technical orders, ensuring accuracy in configurations and monitoring daily shipments.
- Technical Support Coordination: Respond to inquiries regarding parts and retrofit orders, and manage the preparation of field service job orders.
- Logistics & Warranty: Monitor warranty orders, process RMAs, and track rush orders to ensure commitments to customers are met.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor the stock of spare parts, specifically critical spares, within the stockroom.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure seamless fulfillment and represent the department in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain daily and monthly logs for shipments and warranties, monitoring performance against departmental KPIs.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive team leadership/management experience.
- Industry Background: 3+ years in a technical or manufacturing environment; experience in the capital equipment industry is a significant plus.
- Education: High school diploma/GED required; a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent oral and written English skills; fluency in Korean or Chinese is a plus. - Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and align them with fabrication/production workflows is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability in process improvement, servant leadership, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted and assist with packing/shipping orders as required.
