MSP Field Engineer- Florham Park, NJ

Must reside within 25 miles of Florham Park, NJ

Field-based role supporting client sites

Required to report to the Florham Park office when not in the field

Full-time | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

• Infrastructure

  • Windows Server (2016–2022)

  • Active Directory (user, GPO, DNS/DHCP troubleshooting)

  • Hyper-V and/or VMware

  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra )

• Networking & Security

  • Sonic Wall firewall support (configuration, firmware updates, VPN)

  • VLANs and managed switches

  • MFA and endpoint security solutions

• Backup & Business Continuity

  • Datto, Axcient, or similar BCDR platforms

  • Backup monitoring and remediation

  • Participation in disaster recovery testing

• 2+ years of IT field experience

• MSP experience required

• Experience supporting Windows environments, networking, and servers

• Strong troubleshooting methodology

• Professional client communication skills

• Ability to work independently in client-facing environments

• Strong documentation habits

Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
