Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $90.00/hr

This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens. US Citizens will only be considered for this role. Due to the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is required to be eligible for the position.

• As an Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for design, integration, and test.

• Push electronics technology to its limits and apply your creativity as an electrical designer.
• Work in fast-paced, interdisciplinary engineering design teams to implement next-generation products for national security customers.
• Recent products include: custom high-voltage regulator design, dense circuit cards for telecommunications and data storage, and developing unique telecommunication systems using cutting-edge components.
• Projects vary in size and scope, providing a variety of interesting, challenging, and relevant assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of job-related experience.

• Analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis, including Hyperlynx (PI and SI) and LTSpice
• High-voltage regulator design and related design rules
• Digital backplane design (e.g., 3U VPX) in compliance with VITA / SOSA specifications

• Proficient in electrical engineering circuit card design and mixed-signal circuit analysis
• Strong trend awareness with background in test and troubleshooting
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
• Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
• Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development
