Key measures will include savings delivery, impact upon budget and supplier performance.

• Responsible for developing negotiation strategies, close deals, complete contracting process, resolve disputes.
• Oversee competitive bid processes including RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's, and Reverse Auctions.
• Establish key internal business relationships with departmental customers.
• Identify strategies to reduce expense through the renegotiation on existing maintenance contracts, early retirement of equipment, leveraging purchasing opportunities, contractor services, etc. Perform total cost of ownership analysis.
• Lead internal project teams through the vendor evaluation and selection process.
• Understand and monitor current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/ capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.
• Guide the selection, development, and management of strategic suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals.
• Develop and implement spend management strategies including supplier assessments and rationalization, negotiation for best total cost of ownership, make vs. buy analyses, vendor managed inventories, inventory reduction programs, cycle time improvements, security of supply, supplier diversity, continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement and manage proposal activities; lead negotiation and completion of contracts with global strategic and preferred suppliers to maximize benefits across Zoetis.
• Strategic Sourcing management of approximately US $100 million in annual spend.
• Supports key stakeholders through the annual budgeting cycle in addressing the impact on their Indirect spend.

• 5 Years Experience Required _ IT Sourcing Experience is mandatory.
• Specific category experience in Information Technology categories of HW, SW and Telecom is required.
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating complex Software agreements.
• Knowledge and comfort in negotiating standard legal terms.
• Experience of performing Strategic Sourcing roles from spend analysis to category strategy creation and procurement category management.
• Ability to work with management located in other countries and/or time zones.
• Ability to independently evaluate, assess and initiate action; recognition of positive and negative impacts of actions, decisions, other market forces on business and people.
• Clearly convey information through a variety of media to stakeholders.
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills.
• Builds and sustains positive relationships.
• Handles conflicts and negotiations effectively.
