Deputy Maintenance Manager

Overview

The Deputy Maintenance Manager supervises, coordinates, and participates in the activities of employees engaged in repairing and maintaining vehicles, machinery, and equipment (Working Supervisor). Directs and coordinates activities concerned with the acquisition of automotive equipment and the operation and maintenance of vehicular fleet repair and storage facilities.

• Direct and coordinate activities concerned with the acquisition of automotive equipment and the operation and maintenance of vehicular fleet repair and storage facilities.

• Minimum 3 years of progressive supervisory experience in all areas of gasoline and diesel automotive repair is preferred.
• Must receive a negative result from a DOT pre-employment drug screen, pass a DOT pre-employment physical, and criminal background check.
• SC Commercial Driver’s License Class B with Passenger Endorsement required. In-house CDL training and testing available.
• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; corresponding years of experience may be substituted for the level of education desired.

• CDL preferred or must be willing to obtain Class B with Passenger Endorsement. In-house CDL training and testing available.

• Starting Salary will be commensurate with years of experience and/or advanced educational degree.
