Fleet Technician

• The Fleet Technician supports QVC and performs repair, inspection, and diagnostics on Material Handling Equipment, Yard Trucks, and other facility fleet assets. You will ensure safe, reliable operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, component replacement, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

• This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
• You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager.

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on Material Handling Equipment, Yard Trucks, and other fleet assets to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Complete component replacements, calibrations, and system adjustments to extend equipment life and reduce unscheduled downtime
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and CMMS entries with QVC and state guidelines

• High school diploma, vocational degree, or associate degree
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience repairing automotive and heavy equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Work at heights over 20 feet, and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, climbing, and standing/walking for extended periods
• Working knowledge of distribution systems, Material Handling Equipment, and basic electrical systems (AC/DC up to 240 volts)
• Follow mechanical/electrical drawings, manuals, and written instructions
• Valid driver s license with the ability to operate company vehicles
