Merchandising Sales Associate

Become part of our team as a Merchandising Sales Associate at Tractor Supply Company. This role involves traveling within an assigned district to complete various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. You will interact with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to stores within your district to execute tasks from start to finish, including planograms and store resets.
• Support merchandise and fixture assembly, signage maintenance, and store layout initiatives.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and complete cycle counts accurately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including coverage during peak times.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count is essential.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Work Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor work with moderate noise levels.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull merchandise, and operate equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate store equipment.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
