C-Store Team Member.

Reports to:

Store Manager. Type of Position:
Full time or part time. Refuel is one of the fastest growing convenience store chains in the US – growing ~300% in the past 24 months through 17 acquisitions and new to industry store builds. The company currently owns & operates over 220 stores in the southeast with a total team member population of ~3,000.

• Provide a friendly greeting to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone.
• Get to know customers and use their name.
• Move quickly to provide fast service and suggest add-on purchases when appropriate.
• Be people-oriented, friendly, enthusiastic, and polite.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and good communication skills.
• Be honest, dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work alone and on a team; able to stay busy between customers.
• Flexible and willing to help associates and customers.
• Multi-task and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Thank customers for their business and invite them back.

  Check for out-of-date merchandise.

• Must be in physically good shape and able to stand during the shift.
• Must be able to work in a cooler at 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
• Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
• Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.
• Must be able to react to a fire by using a 30lb fire extinguisher.
• Must be able to perform basic math at the eighth-grade level.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English and communicate with customers in English.
