Overview

Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) – T1452. Target is looking for Style Consultants who deliver an exceptional guest experience, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and support easy self-discovery in-store.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests.
• Use store tools to monitor sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Sort freight, move merchandise to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and full floor presence by prioritizing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service back to the sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
• Greet guests, engage to solve their needs, and thank them for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and team members and helping others.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment with teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Strong interest in apparel products and accessories; welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Effective communication, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and composed while accomplishing multiple tasks within set time frames.
• Ability to handle cash operations, climb ladders, and move merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds with assistance, up to 15 pounds frequently).
• Flexible work schedule and reliable attendance; comfortable with varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Mobility for the duration of a shift.
