Food Service Worker; Part Time

Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for a part‑time Food Service Worker position. The role supplies full‑time and part‑time positions with a comprehensive benefits package to promote growth and engagement.

• Location:
  
  Mcleod Hospital Firehouse Subs, 555 East Cheves Street, Florence, South Carolina 29506.
• Schedule:
  
  Part time, Monday through Friday. Hours vary and may shift; more details upon interview.
• No prior experience required. Willing to train.
• Fixed Pay: $15.00 per hour.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
