Med/Surg RN (Night Shift) – Travel Nurse opportunity in Florence, South Carolina (29505). Seeking a dedicated Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse with 2+ years of med/surg experience, BLS, and Epic charting for a 13‑week travel nursing assignment. Florence, SC 29505 (Florence County) - Unit/Setting:
Flex Pool – Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg / MS / Telemetry) - Assignment Dates: 03/30/2026 – 06/29/2026 (13 weeks)
- Shift: Night Shift, 12‑hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (3x12s or 4x12s available)
- Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend - Patient Ratios: 1:6–7 (typical Med/Surg ratios)
- Charting / EMR:
Epic experience required - Scrub Color:

Free on‑site parking - Additional:
May float to similar units; PRN on‑call for low census - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1770 per week
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience required (Medical‑Surgical / Telemetry experience preferred)
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- Epic EMR/charting experience required (experience with Insulin protocols and IV medication administration)
- Experience managing telemetry, rapid response, and IV insulin administration
- First‑time travel nurses accepted
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Willingness to float within scope to like units and participate in emergency response (hurricane season: June–November)
- Locals within 60 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses (diabetes, hypertension, CVD, renal disease, oncology, pulmonary, cardiac, ortho/neuro, post‑op care)
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, administer medications including IV insulin, and manage rapid response situations
- Perform comprehensive wound care and manage surgical drains, catheters, chest tubes, and specialty beds
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) to coordinate patient care
- Accurately document patient care and clinical observations using Epic EMR
- Float to similar units as needed to support patient acuity and unit staffing
- Participate in unit‑and hospital‑level emergency preparedness and response activities
