Summary:
Ensures clinical excellence and leads quality through patient experience, operational excellence, and clinical excellence in hospitals of MUSC Health. Works in close conjunction with the medical staff of the MUSC Health facilities to ensure the clinical staff provide high quality patient service and production standards. Ensures that all clinicians and systems are supported by and consistent with expectations from hospital leadership.
Provides ongoing accountability and authority for optimal functioning in the areas of clinical excellence, quality and patient service, compliance with awareness of demands of business performance and fiscal responsibility.

- Medical Doctorate degree
- 5 years of medical experience required
- 5 years previous supervisory or management experience required
- State licensure for MD
