Nurse Assistant - MedSurg PRN

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may include other duties related to the work described herein.

• Perform routine patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient activities and hygiene.
• Assist staff with patient transport and positioning.

• High School Graduate or GED certificate preferred.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant course.
• Previous experience or coursework preferred.

• Certified Nursing Assistant.
• AHA BLS Certification.
