Summary:
The Patient Care Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine patient care duties within training limits.
- Provide care under RN supervision.
- Assist with patient comfort, hygiene, and mobilization.
- Collect basic data and respond to patient needs.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of patient care environment.
- Deliver personal and family support as needed.
- Respond to emergency calls promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course.
- Previous experience or coursework preferred.
- CNA and AHA BLS certification required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle a fast‑paced, medical environment.
