General Responsibilities
Responsible for curriculum development and delivery of both theoretical and hands‑on instruction, including supervision of classroom management, and completion of administrative tasks such as reporting, syllabus creation, and lesson plan development. Oversee student progress, ensuring alignment with course/program learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain up‑to‑date course syllabi for all courses taught. Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed.
Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus. Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness.

Typical QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
High school diploma from an accredited school. Must possess an active Phlebotomy Technician certification with 3‑5 years of experience directly performing phlebotomy services in a laboratory, hospital, or physicians office. Previous instructional experience required. Applicant must submit current resume and proof of certification. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and D2L, learning management system.
Associate degree preferred. Minimum 5 years working as a Phlebotomist in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or physicians' office. 2+ years of instructional experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification required.
