Overview

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to work full-time at their hospitals in the Pee Dee region. The Pee Dee region consists of three hospitals:
Florence SC, Marion SC, and Black River SC, all located within a short drive from one another. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in the Pee Dee region. • Full-time onsite position Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM)
• No Weekends
• No Call
• Strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations
• BC or BE and MQSA certified and have completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging
• Mix of screening and diagnostic mammography with tomosynthesis on all units; perform image-guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures
• Single VPN with Sectra PACs;
  Power Scribe dictation system
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment
• Staff are well-established, collaborative, and dedicated to the hospital and communities
• Supported by a premier cancer institute with strong professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery
• Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serving as working conferences to deliver high-quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner
