GI Hospitalist Position Available with Established GI Program in South Carolina

McLeod Regional Medical Center (MRMC), a 500-provider, nonprofit healthcare system is seeking a board certified or board eligible Gastroenterologist for an inpatient-only, 7 on 7 off employed position. The physician will work every other week Monday to Monday providing inpatient services and procedures.

MRMC offers a large expansive Endo lab, dedicated anesthesiologist and CRNA providers, and a dedicated GI space in the operating room. The program complements our long established General and Advanced GI program in Florence, SC and serves 1 million patients from the Midlands to the coast of NC and SC.

This position includes 7 days of inpatient services, working 10 hours on-site and 14 hours of covering unrestricted call each day. It is an excellent opportunity to focus solely on inpatient care, seeing hospital patients and ER consults. The role is eligible for paid malpractice, CME allowance, sign-on incentives, competitive compensation, and other health and retirement benefits.

McLeod Regional Medical Center is a 517-bed non‑profit hospital in Florence, SC, and the regional leader in medical excellence. The hospital recently converted to EPIC systemwide and has the largest Endo lab in this region of South Carolina, with dedicated anesthesia and CRNA support both in the Endo lab and OR.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of Internal Medicine Residency, BE or BC
• Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship, BE or BC (new graduates considered)
