Position Overview

McLeod Health is hiring a BE/BC occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care physician to join a team of highly skilled specialists in a desirable South Carolina location.

• Evaluation and treatment of workplace injuries.
• Conduct pre‑employment, return‑to‑work, and fitness‑for‑duty examinations.
• Conduct respirator certification examinations.
• Conduct DOT (Department of Transportation) examinations.
• Collaborate with industry partners on workplace health and safety issues.
• Perform medical review of drug and alcohol testing results.

Background in occupational medicine, urgent care or emergency medicine desirable.

Recommended (but not required):

• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine.
• National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification.
• CAHOC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) certification.
