Responsibilities for Full‑Time Hotel Shuttle Van Driver Transportation Services
  • Provide a safe and timely shuttle service to guests, transporting them to airports, attractions, business centers, or other designated locations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
Guest Interaction
  • Greet guests warmly, provide information about the local area, and answer questions about hotel services and amenities.
  • Address and resolve any guest concerns or special requests during transit.
Vehicle Maintenance
  • Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is clean, well‑maintained, and in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damage promptly and schedule regular maintenance or repairs.
Safety Compliance
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and any required certifications (e.g., commercial driving license, if applicable).
  • Log trip details, including mileage, destinations, and passenger counts.
  • Keep records of maintenance schedules and fuel expenses if required.
Coordination with Hotel Staff
  • Communicate with the front desk to coordinate shuttle schedules and guest pickups.
  • Adapt to changes in guest schedules or special transportation requests.
Cleanliness and Presentation
  • Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, organized, and stocked with any amenities (e.g., bottled water, brochures).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a friendly, welcoming experience for guests.
  • Be prepared to handle emergencies or unexpected situations, such as accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or medical incidents, in a calm and professional manner.
Promoting the Hotel
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting the hotel’s services and offerings during interactions with guests.
  • Provide local insights and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Punctuality and Reliability
  • Ensure timely pick‑ups and drop‑offs according to the schedule, avoiding unnecessary delays.
What We Are Looking for in a Full‑Time Hotel Shuttle Van Driver
  • Valid Driver’s License:
    Must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle (e.g., Class C or CDL if driving larger vans or buses).
  • Clean Driving Record:
    No recent traffic violations, accidents, or driving‑related criminal offenses.
  • Educational Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Service

    Skills:

    Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
