As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee flow. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Control access at mall and retail entry points by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, issuing visitor passes, and directing foot traffic according to site guidelines.

+ Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, documenting security-related activity and reporting suspicious behavior to management and/or local authorities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting retail staff with de-escalation and coordinating with emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols through common areas, storefront perimeters, loading zones, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.

+ CPR certification preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Customer service experience preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
