• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, work area, quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience; models high quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies related action plans and uses the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks opportunities for improvement and adapts to change.
