Role SummaryAs a Server – Beer and Wine, you will guide guests through food and beverage orders, enhancing the movie‑going experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests with engaging interaction, suggesting menu items, providing strong menu knowledge, and delivering quick, timely counter service. The Server – Beer and Wine serves as a vital link between guests and kitchen staff.
The Server may also cross‑train as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher, as staffing needs require.
Responsibilities- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders.
- Handle all transactions on the assigned register, maintain proper cash balance, and report concerns.
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions.
- Ensure alcohol is consumed only in designated areas.
- Use suggestive selling techniques consistently.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure accurate food orders.
- Wipe down and sanitize high‑contact areas.
- Utilize personal protective equipment during position‑specific tasks.
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks.
- Monitor safety and security issues and report them to management.
- Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
- Proof of age (18, and in some states, 21).
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain any required local or state certification.
- Complete Safe Alcohol Service training program.
- Availability for flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
- Excellent guest service.
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Ability to take and follow direction.
- Respond with a sense of urgency.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater.
- Moderate to high noise levels at times.
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
