Do you love helping people connect, stay active, and enjoy each day to the fullest? Spring Arbor Florence is seeking a Part-Time Lifestyle Assistant to support our Lifestyle Director in creating engaging, meaningful programs for our residents and families.

This role is all about connection, creativity, and community — helping residents socialize, stay active, explore interests, and continue living life with purpose.

The primary responsibility of the Lifestyle Assistant is to assist the Lifestyle Director in providing a full-time social and activity program for all residents and families. This includes encouraging resident socialization, improving daily living skills, expanding personal interests, increasing physical activity and education, and making every effort to maintain and expand each resident’s lifestyle.

Part-Time

Includes some evenings, weekends, and special events

Activities occur seven days a week

Assist the Lifestyle Director in conducting and coordinating scheduled activities seven days a week for all residents

Help prepare, post, and distribute the monthly Lifestyle calendar

Facilitate and support monthly Resident Council meetings and other resident meetings as directed

Assist in contacting community groups and volunteers to support Lifestyle programs

Help schedule resident transportation for outings and appointments

Be prepared to drive community vehicles as needed

Assess residents’
social and lifestyle preferences to encourage engagement

Perform other assigned duties (see full job description)

• Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for senior living
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, creative, and dependable
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable driving community vehicles (valid driver’s license preferred)
• Experience in activities, recreation, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
• Must be 18 years or older
