1st Shift Machine Operator

Overview

Crescent Paper Tube is a family-owned business which strongly believes in the concept of doing things right and taking pride in every aspect of operations. We are currently soliciting for production workers for our plant floor. Positions are for general laborers that will be trained in various aspects of our tube making operations. These positions will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, operation of our paper tube manufacturing equipment, handling of finished products as they come off lines, packaging and wrapping of finished goods to be shipped, equipment upkeep, pulling materials to and from production lines, and general housekeeping.

We are looking for individuals with a very strong work ethic, who are willing to do what it takes to consistently meet customer expectations on a daily basis. Cooperation is critical as these positions will move from one area to another on a regular basis to satisfy work requirements.

• Operate paper tube manufacturing equipment
• Handle finished products as they come off lines
• Package and wrap finished goods to be shipped
• Perform equipment upkeep
• Pull materials to and from production lines
• Maintain general housekeeping
• Move between areas to satisfy work requirements

• Must be able to read tape measure and have strong math skills
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular and steady basis
• Positions require a lot of bending and stooping
• Positions require being on your feet at all times except breaks
