The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist in Columbus OH to manage the day-to-day warehousing operations for the fastest growing industries in the world while working on projects to further enhance our operation. An ideal candidate has a background in vendor management, warehouse management, and excellent data‑driven problem resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others, pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

- You enjoy working with data to analyze and report complex data sets to drive optimal business decisions. (Ability to present data and use advanced formulas in Excel)
- You own decisions from inception to implementation.
- You own continuous improvement efforts using your program management skills.
- Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers.
- Leading large projects independently.
- Travel to audit warehouses throughout NALA (mostly domestic USA).
- Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed.
- Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
- Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data.
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations.
- Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implement standards.
- Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs.
- Weekend shift Friday to Monday.
- 4+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.
- 4+ years of program or project management experience.
- 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- 4+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
