Electrical Engineer

Provide Electrical Engineering support for department projects, focusing on creating electrical cabinet designs and leading new equipment design or improvements to current products.

• Create electrical cabinet designs for machine orders based on standards and customer requirements.
• Provide support to customers and service technicians regarding electrical issues.
• Guide new designs and control and drive componentry.
• Lead new equipment design and improvements.
• Oversee electrical design and assembly personnel.
• Plan and implement electrical project assignments with department management.
• Assist in estimating manpower requirements and plan work schedules.
• Recommend changes in methods and design or equipment when necessary.
• Integrate automation and vision systems, robots, etc. into standard equipment.
• Assist production floor with electrical drawing updates, BOM changes, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in testing and troubleshooting of electrical cabinets.
• Generate schematics, layouts, and BOMs.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrical engineer.
• Experience with Autocad Electrical.
• Experience in industrial panel design.
• SAP experience for billing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

• Knowledge of Allen Bradley Power Flex Drive systems and AC motors.
• General programming skills.
• Knowledge of Yaskawa Drive systems.
• Familiarity with UL, CSA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.
• Previous experience in capital equipment design and manufacturing.

This is a fully on-site position in Florence, Kentucky. After a training period of about 6 months, engineers can transition to a hybrid work schedule with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The team is close-knit, focusing on growth and stable job tenure, providing a great opportunity for engineers early in their career to grow with a global company.

This is a Contract position based out of Florence, KY.

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
