Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Description

Our team is seeking a Staff Accountant for a contract position supporting our client's accounting department. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are detail-oriented and eager to contribute to a dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

+ Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports

+ Analyze account variances and prepare related documentation

+ Assist with audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation

+ Maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and accepted accounting practices

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

+ 2+ years of general accounting experience preferred

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and solid analytical skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
