Application Tips
Provide experienced nursing services teaching, evaluating needs, administering care and accurately charting family planning, STDs, immunizations for adults and children, and Well Woman. This position will float to any Public Health location.

Responsibilities (Selected)

• Assess and evaluate birth control needs of client with consideration of physiological, psychological, social, and environmental factors.
• Mandatory reporting of sexual and physical abuse per protocol and nursing guidelines.
• Provide accurate information for smoking cessation, overall healthcare, nutrition, and pre-natal education.
• Teach based on Arizona Family Health Partnership guidelines.
• Distribute and administer birth control method as prescribed and conduct quarterly family planning clinic audits.
• Collect potentially infectious specimens and maintain safety precautions.
• Provide teaching and comfort to initial HIV positive clients and prepare for results from state.
