Application Tips

Perform senior‑level technical functions in the appraisal, analysis, and verification of commercial, business, residential, and personal property for the Pinal County Assessor's Office and act in a lead capacity in providing guidance and direction within the scope of advanced appraisal issues under minimal supervision.

• Conduct on‑site inspections of various types of property including new and existing residential property and structures, mobile homes, agricultural, business, and commercial property, and land.
• Develop fair and equitable assessment of residential and personal property located within the County for ad valorem tax purposes and for proper classification of taxable property and improvements based on current policies and standard appraisal methods.
• Determine type, quality, and condition of property and verify and document property characteristics.
• Verify and process data collected and enter information into specialized software application databases.
• Review research findings on appeal cases with County staff and attorneys before court sessions, hearings, depositions, and conferences, assist in developing defense and negotiation strategies, and assure action…
