Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer

Overview

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with planning and organizing all phases of the women’s soccer program.

• Coaching and administrative duties as directed by the head coach.
• Assisting in practice planning and field coaching (running drills).
• Position‑specific player development and skills training.
• Recruiting, game preparation, scouting, and community involvement.
• Providing leadership and support for the vision and strategies of the head coach.
• Note:
  
  Sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience recruiting student‑athletes is preferred; candidates with a proven ability to recruit quality student‑athletes will receive preference.
• Playing or coaching experience at the intercollegiate level in soccer is preferred.
• Collegiate, club, or professional recruiting/coaching experience preferred, with preference given to candidates with three to five years of successful recruiting and/or coaching experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with NCAA compliance is preferred.
• Knowledge of Division I soccer and NCAA rules preferred.
• Goalkeeper coaching and playing experience preferred.
• USSF D license preferred.
• United Soccer Coaches National Diploma preferred.
• CPR certification, renewed annually, is required.
