Overview

On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1322) s role is On-Demand; you can work as much or as little as you like, with shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via the myTime app). You will be expected to respond to business needs and maintain reliable attendance. Starting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks; engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Be familiar with fraud and theft prevention measures, and assist with checkout, guest services, and various store operations including gift registry, drive up, and order pickup services.
• Explain and promote Target loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; direct guests to enroll, activate and use fulfillment services.
• Educate guests on Target App features (Wallet and other services) and assist with use as needed.
• Process returns following policy requirements; escalate to leadership as needed to resolve guest concerns.
• De-escalate situations with guests in collaboration with leaders and maintain a positive guest experience according to Target policies.
• Deliver accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and stock supplies during store hours; assist with safety and compliance practices.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive Up orders and related returns; comply with legal requirements (e.g., adult beverage laws where applicable).
• Assist with Cash Office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others; you thrive in a fast-moving, active environment where teamwork and problem solving are key.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail; capability to use handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed (up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 44 pounds occasionally).

• Open to working a flexible schedule and being actively engaged by picking up shifts when available and responding to contact attempts; one shift within five months is expected to avoid administrative termination.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and store environments; able to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
