Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Located on the 3400 Med-Surg floor of an acute care hospital,

• Adult and geriatric patient population,

• 18-bed unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio,

• Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,

• Rotating weekend requirements (every other weekend),

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Floating is required,

• EMR:
Meditech,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required,

• BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted),

• Minimum 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required,

• Hands-on Med/Surg clinical experience required,

• Social Security number required for consideration,

• Date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,

• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere during the assignment,

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position,
