Registered Nurse, Cath Lab

We are hiring for the position of Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab at North Alabama Medical Center. This full-time role involves working in RN Medsurg, Days 4x10s (6:00am-4:30pm), with on-call responsibilities. Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Our Cardiac Catheterization Labs serve 13 cardiologists, two vascular surgeons, and one interventional radiologist. We provide specialized services for cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, including dye tests, balloon interventions, and stent placements, especially in emergency heart attack cases.

• Current state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
• Preferred:
  One year of experience

• Deliver comprehensive patient care prioritizing safety and minimizing errors
• Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient responses
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively
• Coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support
• Educate patients and families, advocating for their physical and emotional well-being
