Job Type: RN Medsurg Days 7:00am-7:00pm, Florence, Alabama.
Florence, Alabama is situated in Northwestern Alabama, where the Tennessee River flows through the Shoals region. On days off, opportunities include fishing, boating on Wilson Lake, visiting historical sites, Key Cave National Wildlife Refuge, or a lake cruise on Wheeler Lake.

Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center consists of 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre-Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same day surgery rooms. Our surgical team includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists and other professionals. We strive to provide outstanding and compassionate care from pre-op to discharge.

How You’ll ContributeYou’ll impact patient care by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys daily and leverage your skills and our technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
Qualifications And Requirements- Current state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- BLS and ACLS required within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- Provide and coordinate patient care, with accountability for outcomes
- Assess, plan, and collaborate to address patient needs and priorities
- Execute physician orders and supervise nursing interventions
- Advocate for the patient when they cannot express their own needs
- Care through clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness
