Job DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for all shipping and receiving of products/goods.
SAFETYWorking safely is a condition of employment.
Employee is required to follow all Safety procedures and rules.
Employee is required to properly wear all required PPE as noted in PPE assessments and JSA’s.
Employee is required to perform pre-operation safety inspections (hoist, forklifts, etc.).
Responsible for review and sign off of all JSA’s every 6 months.
Observe SWFP safety rules and regulations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Must work as a team member to improve safety, efficiency and quality.
2. Responsible for inspecting all shipping and receiving of products.
3. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks; including insulated and bare scrap.
4. Responsible for using yard dog to move trailers on/off dock doors
5. Responsible for shuttling trailers between MC/BW/and 12 for Life buildings.
6. Responsible for pick-up, inspection and placement of finished products to be shipped.
7. Check and maintain quality critical aspects of duties as defined by standard operating procedures.
8. Report all mechanical, electrical and quality problems to the shift supervisor.
9. Responsible for housekeeping and organization of work area including cleaning and placement of equipment or tools.
10. Perform duties that may be deemed necessary by the supervision or management.
